I build design functions
at companies that have something to prove.

I've done this across complex domains such as biotech and enterprise security, establishing design as a strategic function that changed how the company competed. In each case, it earned its place rather than being handed one.
Lately my work has moved increasingly into AI-native product design and strategy.
I'm Head of Product Design at Araceli Biosciences, where I lead design and product strategy as a member of the Senior Leadership Team. I also lead the company's AI strategy at the product level.
I founded Withmore, a boutique design strategy consultancy advising early-stage B2B founders on 0-to-1 product design and design function building. Clients have included stealth startups in the fintech/investment and e-commerce.
I founded and scaled the design practice at Berkeley Lights from zero, growing it into a team of five. The company was later acquired by Bruker following a 2023 merger with IsoPlexis.
My graduate research examined adoption of voice systems in vehicles, including how people build trust in the technology. How people form confidence in systems that act on their behalf has stayed central to my approach to AI product design.
At BlueCat, I led the initial design of DNS Edge, a new enterprise security product line built from scratch. Edge later became part of BlueCat's Cisco SolutionsPlus partnership.
I led design concepting for a new network visibility product at Blue Coat Systems, owning the core dashboard and contributing to a portfolio-wide rebrand. The company was acquired by Symantec for $4.65 billion in 2016.
I'm an angel investor with Hustle Fund's Angel Squad. I draw, embroider, sculpt ceramics, and build creative coding projects, some of which live in Explorations.
